Nearly 150 caribou have been harvested illegally so far this winter.


There has been a push in recent years to educate harvesters in the traditional hunting ways. Despite this, there is illegal caribou harvesting every year. Yellowknife RCMP looking for two men after alleged break and enter

Despite the "multiple RCMP" that were on the scene, police have no description of the two men allegedly involved in the incident.


Yellowknife RCMP is looking for two men involved in an alleged break and enter. “A weapon was allegedly used in the event, however there were no injuries,” according to a police news release.
