While the investigation isn’t over, Yellowknife RCMP have charged Billy McNeely and Aaron Stoodley in connection to a shooting on May 26.

According to a police news release, officers responded to a call in the early hours of the morning at Grayling Manor on 53rd street in Yellowknife.

Police found a 25-year-old man who had been shot. He was brought to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 38-year-old McNeely faces a handful of gun related charges.

Stoodley, 31, is charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
