Public health is reporting 13 new COVID cases related to the outbreak at a Yellowknife school.
This brings the territory’s total up to 47, with three probable cases awaiting confirmation, a press release says.

Of the confirmed cases, 10 are the variant first identified in the U.K., known as B.1.1.7.
A total of 1,132 tests have been completed in Yellowknife since May 1, when the outbreak at N.J. MacPherson was reported.
A new public exposure was issued for anyone at the Bella Dance Academy on May 1 between 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
