The Beaufort Delta is getting ready to rumble tonight.

Totally Arctic Wrestling (TAW) returns to the Delta this weekend.

The first event, Naarigaa, is coming to Inuvik on Friday, while the second event, Danger Bay, is coming to Tuktoyaktuk on Sunday.

Since its first event in 2019, TAW has billed itself as “Canada’s northernmost and only Inuvialuit-owned pro wrestling promotion,” according to its Facebook page.

Coming North of 60 for Friday’s smackdown is Kamloops, B.C.’s own Justin Cider, who is taking on the Nolarbear. The winner will go on to face the reigning champion, Blue Wilder.

Cider had some harsh words for his opponent on social media last night. “I’ve watched your matches as well, and I’m ready for you Nolarbear,” He said. “There’s nothing that you can do that can surprise me, my friend.”

Also on Friday, the Eskimofo will be taking on Devin Shipwreck for the Jericho Cruise title.

As of 9:00 a.m. this morning, there were ten tickets available for tonight’s Inuvik event. Wrestling fans can message TAW’s Facebook page with their favorite TAW wrestler for a chance to win a ticket.

The bell rings at 7 p.m. tonight in Inuvik at the Midnight Sun Complex, and at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in Tuktoyaktuk.
