Inuvik man facing murder charge

A 38-year-old Inuvik man is facing a murder charge after an incident in June. 

On June 5, a man was found injured and unresponsive on Union St. in Inuvik, says an RCMP press release. 

After a police investigation, Michael Drescher was arrested and charged on Oct. 14.

Police say there are no other suspects.

Drescher is scheduled to appear at the Yellowknife Courthouse on Nov. 4.
