Behchokǫ̀ RCMP charged a 24-year-old man in connection with the death of a 17-year-old that occurred last week.
According to authorities, Zakk Lafferty is facing a second-degree murder charge. Police have confirmed he is in custody and is slated to make a court appearance today.
The charge is related to the death of a 17-year-old teenager early on the morning of Aug. 4.
Police are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward, and contact Behchokǫ̀ RCMP at 867-392-1111, or leave an anonymous tip at 1-800-222-8477, or online on Crime Stoppers’ website.
