Melissa Sangris says her new cookbook has a few staple recipes, but with a northern twist.
Sangris paired up with Barb Mercredi of Fort Smith and the pair recently published their first cookbook.
Now living in Edmonton, Sangris says cooking some of the recipes she grew up with makes her feel closer to home.
CKLB spoke with Sangris about the process and how her culture inspired the project.
