Update: Missing Yellowknife teen found “safe and sound”

A missing Yellowknife teen has been found “safe and sound,” according to RCMP.

Yellowknife RCMP confirmed on Friday afternoon 16-year-old Dayton Lafferty had been found roughly one day after being reported missing.

Lafferty was last seen on the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 25. He was reported missing on Oct. 27. His whereabouts in the meantime and the circumstances under which he was found were not immediately reported.
