Police arrest ‘unruly’ plane passenger in Yellowknife

On Monday afternoon, Yellowknife RCMP arrested a passenger that on an outbound flight that was “unruly” and “verbally aggressive”, according to a news release.

The flight had taken off but “was required to return to Yellowknife.”

A 36-year-old man is now facing multiple charges; police have not released the identity of the individual.

RCMP have also not said whether the flight destination was within the NWT or outside of the territory.
