The territorial government is hosting three public information sessions with flood victims in Fort Simpson on Thursday.

Jay Boast, a spokesperson for Municipal and Community Affairs, said in an email the one-hour meetings will take place at the Recreation Centre Community Hall.

The meeting will provide those in attendance with information on the GNWT response and the application process for the Disaster Assistance Program.

The attendance is limited to 25 people due to COVID-19 restrictions, but there will be three opportunities for residents to attend on June 3 at 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Boast says coffee and snacks will be provided.
