Taylor Behn-Tsakoza has put together a panel of youth from across Treaty 8 territory to talk about their rights.

“Learning more about what’s happening in the different areas within Treaty 8, I wanted to bring those stories to life and to give a platform for those to happen,” says Behn-Tsakoza.

One of the panelists includes Morgan Tsetta, a young Yellowknives Dene woman who has been active on social media sharing information about the legacy of Giant Mine.

Behn-Tsakoza spoke with CKLB about the importance of putting this panel together.

The panel is happening over Zoom this evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. MDT.
