Hay River RCMP requesting help to find suspect in motor theft

Hay River RCMP is asking for help identifying a suspect in a recent theft in the community.

RCMP say they are still investigating the theft of an outboard motor that occurred on Stewart Dr. between Jan. 18 and Jan. 25.

The person is believed to have accessed the victim’s yard, removing a grey Honda outboard motor from a boat.

Anyone with information can call Hay River RCMP at 867-874-1111.

When asked for a description of the individual, RCMP said, “There are no details about this unknown individual. We are asking the public for any information they may have between the dates listed to further the investigation into this theft of property.”
