Pehdzeh Ki First Nation and Aklavik announce fall election

The Pehdzeh Ki First Nation (PKFN) is accepting nominations for the position of chief and six councillors in Wrigley.

Nominations are due Oct. 29.

The public will be informed of the candidates that same day.

Election day will be Nov. 16.

Aklavik community election

The positions for three directors are up for election in Aklavik.

The role of director will be a two- year term.

The Aklavik Community Corporation will be accepting nominations until Oct. 28.

Nominations close Nov. 25.

Elections will be held on Dec. 9. from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the David Storr building.
