Yukon RCMP arrest 2 suspects in connection with weekend shooting in Whitehorse

M-Division RCMP have arrested two suspects in connection with a shooting that happened this past weekend in downtown Whitehorse.

Police say the two suspects were arrested Sunday night.

The two were allegedly involved in a shooting outside the 202 Motor Inn on Jarvis Street early Sunday morning.

 

Police say a man sustained a serious, life-threatening gunshot wound.

RCMP cordoned off the entire block of the hotel and bar, which also contains alcohol off-sales, and a Chinese restaurant.
