Fort Providence RCMP investigating vehicle fire

RCMP in the Dehcho community of Fort Providence are investigating after a vehicle fire that happened Halloween night. In an email to CKLB, RCMP say,

“at approximately 5:41 am, on November 1st, 2019, Fort Providence RCMP received a call for service regarding a vehicle on fire.”

Community members in Fort Providence tell CKLB the fire happened near the home of their newly elected MLA Ronald Bonnetrouge.

Fort Providence RCMP did not disclose the address of where the fire happened, but confirm they are actively investigating and have laid no charges yet.
