At least three people are facing drug related charges after a recent drug bust in the Dehcho Region.

Fort Simpson RCMP says their investigation continues after they seized an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine, a digital scale with cocaine residue on it and approximately $1900 dollars in Canadian currency during the execution of a residential search warrant this past Saturday, November 9th.

RCMP confirm they have arrested and charged one male suspect. They identify him as Ismail Hassan Farah, 23, from Edmonton, Alberta. Farah faces two charges, “Possession for the purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of property obtained by crime,” police explained in their press release issued Wednesday afternoon.

Police say charges are pending for two more suspects, whose names they have not released at this time.
