Yellowknife RCMP ask for public’s help as they search for missing man (Updated: found)

Update: Yelllowknife RCMP say Nelson has been located, but did not provide details on where he was found.

Yellowknife RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Eric Nelson, 47.

According to a news release issued Monday morning, Nelson was last seen about 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, in the area of the Pilot’s Monument, in Old Town.

Eric Nelson is described as First Nation, with short black hair, brown eyes.

He is 5’5” (167 cm) tall and weighs about 158 pounds (72 kg).
