Reimbursement program launched by IRC to help students with distance education

The Inuvialuit Regional Corporation is reimbursing students in need of electronic equipment for the upcoming school year.

The IRC announced in a press release it is offering up to $500 per student.

The funds are intended to assist Inuvialuit students acquire basic equipment for online or distance learning.

Applications must include receipts, ID and proof of acceptance from a learning institution.

The deadline to apply is Oct. 30.
