Help land changes to Fort Simpson Airport’s Development Plan

Residents are invited to learn about proposed updates to the Fort Simpson Airport’s Development Plan by attending a public meeting on March 13 in the community.

This is an opportunity for the public and industry to learn more about the development plan, share insights and ask questions.

Future growth of the airport is guided by its Development Plan, which provides recommendations, analyses, and policies for future development, typically for a 20-year period with updates every five years.

The plan also provides information on changing demographics, economics, and other areas of consideration.

The public meeting is at 6 p.m. on March 13 in the Fort Simpson Community Hall.

Feedback is open until March 31 and can be accessed through the GNWT’s main website.

General questions about the plan can be sent to: INF_communications@gov.nt.ca.
