Update: Missing Fort Smith youth found safe

Shamus Martin was found safe hours after being declared missing.

A Fort Smith youth who went missing yesterday has been found safe.

Police announced on Tuesday afternoon 17 year-old Shamus Martin had been found hours after the announcement he was missing.

“The RCMP are seeking to make contact with him to confirm his well-being,” read a statement from police.

His whereabouts in the meantime were not disclosed.
