A 21-year-old man has died following a fatal towing incident in Hay River today.
Police responded to a call around 1:20 a.m. where they found a vehicle stuck in the sand near Great Slave Lake.
As a second vehicle was attempting to tow the vehicle, the rope disconnected, hitting the young man.
Police investigation revealed no indications of criminal activity.
