Power temporarily restored in Behchoko` after vehicle collides with pole

Another outage is expected later Tuesday afternoon.

Power is temporarily restored in Behchoko` after a single vehicle collision led to an outage early Tuesday morning.

Behchoko` Chief Clifford Daniels says the damaged pole was on the access road.

Doug Prendergast, a spokesperson for the NTPC, says the pole has been removed and power restored.

But there will need to be another outage later this afternoon to allow the crew to safely install the replacement pole.
