RCMP investigating sudden death in Yellowknife

Police are investigating after a 38-year-old man was found dead in a Yellowknife building.

In a press release, the RCMP say they responded to a call to service regarding a “sudden death.”

The man was found unresponsive on Jan. 8 around 7:30 a.m. in a building in the area of 50 St. and 51 Ave.

The release says no other information is available but the RCMP is investigating with the NWT Coroner Service and that there is no public safety concerns at this time.
