Fundraiser Saturday for Yellowknife couple whose houseboat was destroyed by fire

Former NWT Commissioner and accomplished musician George Tuccaro will headline a fundraising concert at Old Town Glassworks Saturday night.

The event is in support of Stephane and Allyce Hervieux who lost their houseboat to a devastating fire on Yellowknife Bay back in May of this year.

The couple is well-known in the city and beyond for their starring roles in the reality series Ice Lake Rebels.

The concert features Tuccaro and the Don’t Give Up Your Day Job Band as well as special guests George Mandeville, Norbert Poitras, Earl McAuley, Tracy Riley, Andrea Boettger, Pat Braden and Felipe Gomez.

There will also be an art auction.

The licensed event gets underway at 7:30 pm the glassworks compound at 3510 MacDonald Drive.
