NWT ferries expected to close over weekend

Despite the warmer-than-usual temperatures, the territory’s ferries are all expected to close this upcoming weekend. The Department of Infrastructure has already announced the closure of the Liard River ferry crossing on Nov. 3. The date matches the 15-year closing average.
