Mounties renew plea for public assistance as they search for Yellowkife-area man

Yellowknife RCMP are again asking for the public’s help as they continue to look for a missing man.

According to a news release from the Mounties issued Friday, they continue to search for Glenn Harold Field, 63, who they first reported missing a week ago.

“Any kind of information on Mr. Field, even if it does not seem relevant, could be helpful to the RCMP, and could assist with the investigation,” police state.

Field has grey hair, grey/blue eyes, is 178 cm or 5′ 8″ tall, and weighs about 77 kg or 170 pounds.

RCMP say Field is reported to spend most of his time on the land, in the area of Rolfe Lake, 150 kilometres northeast of Yellowknife and 72 kilometres due east of Gordon Lake.

An RCMP search crew travelled to the area, but did not locate Mr. Field, Mounties state.

He is known to have regular contact with people and businesses in Yellowknife.

RCMP received a report that he has not made contact recently.

The exact date of last contact is not known, RCMP state.
