Yellowknife’s Primary Care Centre has resumed laboratory services, once again.
The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) confirmed on Thursday, Sept. 15 the Primary Care Centre had been offering laboratory services since Sept. 6.
The Primary Care Centre was closed to laboratory and diagnostic imaging services from June 27 to Sept. 5 due to short staffing in the medical sector.
The Primary Care Centre still isn’t offering diagnostic imaging services. However, both services are still available at Stanton Territorial Hospital.
NTHSSA Spokesperson David Maguire said there is currently no timeline for when diagnostic imaging services will return to the clinic.
