Dr. Kami Kandola, chief public health officer, has announced two new cases of COVID-19 in Yellowknife.
This brings the total active cases to 63 with two probable cases.
More than 2,000 tests have been done in relation to the N.J. Macpherson outbreak.
Public health announced in a media briefing that the school closure order in Yellowknife, Dettah, Ndilǫ and Behchokǫ̀ is set to be lifted on May 17.
Contacts of COVID-19, connected to the outbreak at N.J. Macpherson school and Sir John Franklin High School are encouraged to get tested this week.
The N.J. Macpherson testing site will run until May 15.

There are currently no hospitalizations and no new public exposure notifications in Yellowknife.
