Inuvik RCMP say they seized 12 grams of suspected crack-cocaine during a drug bust at the Nova apartment complex on Thursday.
Police executed a search warrant after receiving reports of drug-related activity in the building. Along with the suspected cocaine, officer also confiscated $700 in cash, several cell phones and drug paraphernalia.
Following the investigation, 19-year-old Darius Koffi-Sebio and 19-year-old Aymen Afadish, both from British Columbia, were charged with drug trafficking. Koffi-Sebio faces additional charge of obstructing a peace officer.
Both individuals remain custody, and no court date available yet.
