Three people cut, then shot at in Fort Resolution, say RCMP

A 74-year-old man was arrested after three people in a Fort Resolution residence were attacked early Sunday morning with an “edged weapon,” and the victims were shot at as they fled, RCMP stated today.

Officers were called to the Fort Resolution Clinic on June 2nd at 3:10 a.m. to respond to a complaint of an assault with a weapon,” reads a release.

The officers found three people suffering from non life-threatening injuries and all were treated and released.

Officers are still investigating the incident, and have seized a long gun from the scene.

Charges are pending.
