Stolen property raid in Hay River nets suspected fentanyl and crack-cocaine

Hay River RCMP executed a search warrant on a Hay River suspected as being a venue for selling stolen property. There they found the goods and suspected fentanyl and crack-cocaine.

As a result, 21-year-old Destiny Smallgeese and 34-year-old John Antoine have both been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000.

And 31-year-old Markara Bun and 38-year-old Savy You of Ontario are both charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000;
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine;
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl.

Destiny Smallgeese and Savy You were released on promises to appear in Hay River Territorial Court on May 13.

Markara Bun appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody.

John Antoine will appear in Hay River Territorial Court on April 29.
