A 27-year-old man died at the Fort Smith Correctional Facility on Monday.
The NWT Coroner Service has announced it is investigating the death along with RCMP.
According to the coroner, the man was alone in his cell when he died and the deaht is not considered suspicious.
According to CBC, the territorial government’s department of justice is also investigating internally.
This is the fourth death at the facility since 1995.
