The Yellowknives Dene First Nation daycare in Ndilǫ will be closed until further notice.
Jennifer Drygeese is the director of health and wellness for YKDFN.
She posted to social media saying an individual at the daycare last week has tested positive for COVID-19.
The post does not specify which day the individual was at the daycare or whether they were there multiple days. However, it recommends people that were there last week or on Monday to monitor for symptoms and get tested if they develop.
