On Thursday afternoon, Premier Caroline Cochrane said the NWT would be receiving enough doses of the new COVID-19 vaccine to immunize 75 per cent of eligible adults within the first three months of 2021.

The vaccine would be provided by American biotech company Moderna.
The announcement comes a day after Health Canada also approved the Pfizer vaccine.
The premier, along with Health and Social Services Minister Julie Green and Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Kami Kandola will be speaking to media on Friday at 1:30 p.m. for additional information on the vaccine roll out in the territory.
