Hotıì ts’eeda releases ‘culturally safe’ posters with advice on COVID-19

A look at the English 'Safe on the Land' poster.

The health research network Hotıì ts’eeda has published a series of posters with advice for communities on COVID-19.

The posters were created with FOXY (Fostering Open Expression in Children and Youth) as a simple way to share federal and information on protection during the pandemic.

The group developed two posters: Our Home is Our Camp and Safe on the Land. The posters are available in each of the NWT’s 11 official languages. An infographic on “Covid-19 Basics” is also available for download in English and is being translated.

Hotıì ts’eeda says the resources will be mailed to community organizations across the territory.

More posters and infographics are also planned and will be published to the website when available.
