Yellowknife RCMP charge woman with alleged assault with a weapon

A Yellowknife woman has been charged for alleged assault with a weapon following a situation that occurred in a Sissons Court home.

According to the RCMP, “At approximately 1:40 p.m. on March 18th, Yellowknife RCMP responded to a call for service at a Yellowknife home.”

“Upon arrival, a victim was transported by City of Yellowknife Fire Division Emergency Medical Services to Stanton Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries,” Julie Plourde an RCMP Spokesperson said in a email to CKLB Radio.

Hilary Catholique, 28, has been charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon.
  • Assault causing bodily harm.
  • Failure to comply.

Catholique’s next court appearance is on June 16 in Yellowknife.
