Inuvialuit group of companies boasts record $8.6M distribution to Inuvialuit beneficiaries this year
Payments made possible by record earnings of $137.9M for the group of companies, which represents 5,050 enrolled Inuvialuit beneficiaries
The Inuvialuit group of companies announced “exceptional financial results” for its 2025 fiscal year with record earnings of $137.9 million.
The 2026 distribution payment of $1,706 will be made on May 1, to each of the 5,050 enrolled Inuvialuit beneficiaries.
This payment totals $8.6 million and represents an increase of 27% from last year’s payment.

IRC chair and CEO Erwin Elias stated in a release that, “this distribution represents far more than a dollar amount — it reflects stability for Inuvialuit families and meaningful investment in our communities.
He continued: “These funds help support household needs, strengthen local economies, and create opportunities that contribute to healthier, more resilient communities today while laying a foundation for future generations.”
The group of companies includes: Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, Inuvialuit Investment Corporation, Inuvialuit Development Corporation, Inuvialuit Petroleum Corporation, and Inuvialuit Land Corporation.
To date, more than $90 million has been delivered to beneficiaries, while the remaining funds have been reinvested to support community priorities and the long-term well-being of future generations.
Established in 1984 to manage the settlement outlined in the Inuvialuit Final Agreement, Inuvialuit Regional Corporation represents the collective interests of Inuvialuit.
