RCMP seek footage after arson in Inuvik

Police say an accelerant was used to start the early morning fire on Dolphin Street


Inuvik RCMP are asking the public for video footage from the area of Dolphin Street, where an arson occurred early Sunday morning.

Police say they received a report of a suspicious fire at a residence around 5:30 am on May 25. Officers attended the scene and determined that an accelerant had been used to start the fire.

The fire was extinguished without injuries, according to police.

RCMP are asking anyone with information or video footage from between 5 am and 5:30 am to contact the Inuvik detachment at 867-777-1111.
