Several pop-up clinics in Yellowknife will be offering flu and COVID vaccinations starting this week, according to the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA).
Seniors can receive their vaccines at the Baker’s Community Centre on Thursday or at Aven’s Manor on Friday, both open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Families with children aged five and under can get immunized at the Multiplex in the DND Gymnasium on Sunday, November 3rd between 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Toys, snacks and refreshments will be provided.
A drop-in/walk in clinic will run from November 5 to November 16 for the general public at the Centre Square Mall. It is open from Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Sundays and Mondays).
In addition, Yellowknife Public Health will host a clinic at the Yellowknife Co-op from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 2nd.
