Due to a rising trend in syphilis transmission and other sexually-transmitted infections across Yellowknife, a new pop-up clinic is now open in the city.

The clinic offers tests and treatments, with appointment details kept confidential and separated from the regular medical files. Those with a valid N.W.T health care are eligible for free services. Otherwise, patients are expected to pay out of pocket.

Patients can visit the clinic at 487 Range Lake Road, Unit 103. Both appointments and walk-in are welcome. To book an appointment, visit www.rlwclinic.com.

The clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours subject to change depending on staff available and holidays.

This clinic is expected to remain open for at least one year.
