A floatplane was forced to make an emergency landing on an NWT highway yesterday afternoon, said Fort Simpson RCMP.
The incident happened on Highway 1 near River Bridge, about 15 kilometers from Fort Simpson, according to CBC.
The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) told CKLB that there were 1 pilot and 2 passengers on board. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the floatplane sustained no damage.
The board says they are gathering information to assess this case but are not deploying investigators.
