One man has died following a house fire in Tuktoyaktuk in the early morning on Wednesday.
Local RCMP confirmed officers found the man’s body in the home after firefighters extinguished the fire.
Police say they are now working with the coroner’s officer and fire marshal to determine the cause of death and source of the fire.
RCMP says it does not suspect “foul play” and has not released any other details of the deceased.
