Drugs, firearms and cash seized in Hay River

Numerous paraphernalia were seized in a Hay River residence this week.

 They included illegal substances, firearms and over $2000 in cash.

The male in question was arrested in the home and has since been released.

The resident has been charged with drug trafficking and firearm offences and is expected to be in Hay River Territorial court on June 13.

The investigation is still ongoing and further arrests are pending.
