Health Authority’s new callback system to help book appointments ‘more efficiently’
However, due to demand for this non-urgent option, callbacks may take up to five business days, says NTHSSA
The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority has introduced a new Callback Request Form to help residents schedule appointments more efficiently, making booking lab appointments in Yellowknife easier.
Instead of waiting on hold or visiting in person, residents can fill out the callback form online.
Due to demand, callbacks may take up to five business days.
For immediate booking, appointments are still available by phone at Stanton Territorial Hospital or in person at the Yellowknife Primary Care Clinic downtown.
The Yellowknife Primary Care Clinic offers same-day walk-in lab appointments from 8am on a first-come, first-served basis. If slots are full, individuals may join a waitlist or book a future appointment.
Using the callback form helps prioritize urgent needs and makes booking lab appointments easier and faster for everyone in the Yellowknife region.
For more information or to request a callback, visit the NTHSSA website. Residents are encouraged to use the callback form for non-urgent inquiries.
