Yellowknife RCMP say a 13-year-old was taken to hospital after allegedly threatening others with a knife at Mildred Hall School on Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the incident around 11:30 a.m. The school was put into lockdown as a precaution.
Officers were able to seize the knife without incident, and the youth was brought to Stanton Territorial Hospital for care.
RCMP say no injuries were reported.
