RCMP are asking for video footage that may have captured the stabbing of a man by two suspects in Inuvik on March 15 between midnight and 1 a.m.
Police received a report about a stabbing Saturday at 12:52 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple stab wounds, while the suspects had already fled.
The victim was transported out of the community with serious injuries.
Inuvik RCMP are asking residents with security cameras near the intersection of Navy Road and the Bypass, as well as Navy Road and Kugmallit Road, to check their footage.
Anyone with video evidence or have who witnessed suspicious activity during that time is asked to contact the Inuvik RCMP at 867-777-1111.
