RCMP hunt for overnight bacon thief from Fort Providence school

Police ask for the public’s help identifying suspect who broke into the Deh Gáh School early Monday morning

Fort Providence RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who broke into the Deh Gáh School in Deh Gah Got’ı̨ę (Fort Providence).

A review of available surveillance footage determined that the suspect entered the school around 3:53 a.m. on Monday, January 27th, stated a release.

RCMP spokesperson Matt Halstead stated: “The suspect stole some items from the school including bacon from the kitchen and two bags from the administrative office.”

RCMP ask anyone who recognizes the person in the surveillance image stills to contact them.
