The preliminary council results for the Yellowknives Dene First Nation are in.
Leading in the community of Dettah is Anastassia Judas with 153 votes, followed by Peter Crookedhand with 139 votes, and lastly, Mary Rose Sundberg with 128 votes.
In N’dilo Leroy Betsina is leading with 201 votes, Philip J. Goulet is right behind with 164 votes, and Jeff Rosnawski with 162 votes.
The appeal period ends Sept. 30 at 3 p.m.
