A new chief and council were announced in the community of Colville Lake earlier this week, naming Richard Kochon the chief of Behdzi Ahda first nation.
His predecessor, Wilbert Kochon rang in with 28 votes and Trudy with 16.
The elected councillors for the area of Ts’ogo are Roland Codzi, Tage Charles Gully, Dutah Theresa Kakfwi, Natanda Oudzi for Tahshine and lastly, Janet Kochon.
Alvin Orlias will act as a subchief.
