Yellowknife RCMP say an 18-year-old man was shot “multiple times” last Sunday.
The shooting happened at an apartment building on the 5100 block on 53rd Street about 11:15 p.m.
The victim was taken to Stanton hospital and then sent to Edmonton for treatment.
Police says the injuries at not life-threatening.
“It is believed the parties involved in this incident are known to each other and there is no immediate risk to the public,” reads a news release.
